JB Plastics Ltd was incorporated in 1977.  The Company's operations are carried out at B18, Industrial Estate, Bulebel - Zejtun, Malta and, together with its sister company, Elepac Ltd, now occupies a total production area of approximately 95,000 sq ft.

There are four separate production units within JB Plastics Ltd, namely:

  1. Cables Section producing domestic and telephone cable.
  2. Injection Moulding Section producing a wide range of electrical fittings to compliment 20 mm and 25 mm diameter conduit as well as plastic disposable cutlery items.  The company also produces items, on a sub-contracting basis, for a number of local companies.
  3. Polythene Extrusion Section supplies polythene bags to customers' specifications with regards to length, breadth and thickness of the polythene as well as the printing thereon.
  4. PVC Extrusion Section manufactures conduits, water and drainage pipes in different sizes apart from mini trunking also in various sizes.
Apart from supplying the local market, the Company exports its products to the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Egypt and others.

Elepac Ltd

Set up in 1996, elepac Ltd produces electronic packaging for the microelectonics industry.  Manufacturing at the same address as JB Plastics Ltd, Elepac Ltd produces electronic packaging under license for a US/Uk Company.  Elepac also operates to ISO9002.

Eurosupplies Ltd.

Eurosupplies Ltd was also set up in 1996 with its main activity being the importation of electrical products that are complimentary to the products produced by JB Plastics Ltd.

Total Group employment is circa 60.
